iPhone 4 on a Glif, Manfrotto, GlideTrack, and Tripod →
This is a little wacky and definitely looks like overkill. But it was a fun proof-of-concept to throw together. See the test video.
Incidentally, you’ll have to tell me if the video plays properly. I’m working exclusively on an 11” MacBook Air today, and I’ve committed to seeing how long I can go without installing Flash in any of its browsers. Alas, I can’t watch the video on Flickr.
Update: @slim tells me I can fake the user agent in Safari to appear as iPad or iPhone (see this article on Daring Fireball). Now I can see the video, and it looks like Flickr has compressed it quite a bit. Oh well. I’d prefer to upload it to Vimeo, but that requires Flash to do so…
